On September 20, 2008 my brother Seth got married to Serena Gomez. The girl cousins (all but Dia that is, she was too little to follow directions) were the flower girls. It was a very nice garden wedding. I even gave my first toast!

Rhonda Shane
I am writing this post because I know my friend Rhonda Shane reads this and I've been trying to get a hold of her! I sent an email a week or two ago and never got a response. Rhonda if you are out there please email me at my comcast.net address! I can't get on your blog and it's frustrating me! I miss you and wanted to see what's happening! Sorry to everyone else, but this was my only hope in reconnecting. Thanks for your patience (if you even bothered to read this far)! RHONDA WHERE ARE YOU!?!?!

Cooking Cowboy and Cowgirls
Last night for FHE we decided to make cookies for dessert. Aaron started getting all the ingredients out for Toll House Chocolate Chip cookies only to discover that we were missing a key ingredient and couldn't make them. So we started looking for another recipe to make and found one called "Polka Dot" cookies. (They are a chocolate cookie with mint chips in them.) Aaron then decided that he couldn't bake without music so on came the country. Which then prompted the dress up cowboy hats to come out. So that's how the cookies were made with aprons, hats, and music. The girls had so much fun baking and dancing with Daddy I just had to take a picture. I am so grateful for my husband. He is the best father! The girls love when he gets home because then they have someone to wrestle with! Leona is always saying "when I grow up I'm going to be just like you, dad!" She even talks about wanting hairy arms like Aaron. I have tried to explain to her that she really doesn't, but I think she just likes the feel of rubbing his arms! Oh... and by the way the cookies turned out AWESOME! They are really minty and chocolaty and soft. You have to drink milk with them! If you want the recipe let me know I'd I'll send you an email. If you like mint you will love these!
P.S. Sorry the pictures are a little fuzzy. We are still using our blackberry phones for cameras because we have yet to fix our digital camera. Hopfully that will happen before the baby comes!
P.P.S. Aunt Wendy I want you to notice that the aprons still get good use!

Adventures with Lydia...
So, I just got some pictures from my father-in-law that had been taken on his camera. (In case you missed it we lived with them for 2 months while we were waiting for the house to close.) It's funny how fast we forget some of the cutest things our children do. While we were living there (and before) Dia thought it was hilarious to get inside the bottom hole in a cat tower that my in-laws have! Sometimes she would take toys in with her and just play. I think she liked it because she knew Leona couldn't get in with her and bother her. The hole is not that big and we kept thinking at some point she might get stuck, but boy can that girl twist and contort to fit where she wants. The following are a couple of pictures from her adventures!
